Sunday

Rather an unusual sunrise
Very strange
The light reflected to the West
Sadly it didn't last long
Jim had to go out quickly as a huge area of heavy rain was approaching
Angry looking sky
Back down the hill

After that rain had cleared away our visitors Craig & Mia had walked to Prussia Cove & Back - had some heavy rain on the way
Afternoon walkies
Ring netters out again

Rounding the point - very wet underfoot
Lying water out there as well

Still some nice waves

  1. Haven't looked at the blog for a long time, many apologies for that, so had a lovely surprise to see Maisie. Is she a rescue?
I was also surprised at the very stormy weather you have had this winter, although you also have some lovely shots of sunrises and sunsets.
I do hope that the wind is not playing havoc with our fences and the roof at the cottage in Mawnan. I must email my neighbour and have him do a check for me.
Our painting on the cottage went well in Sept/Oct and I am hoping the German mineral paint is better than lime wash, but still allows the cob to breathe.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in case I don't get back on again, which is pretty likely as I have visitors arriving this week.

    1. Good to hear from you Lynn - was thinking about you when California was burning !
Yes Maisie is like a mini Pointer that we found via English Pointer Rescue - we none of us realised just how small she was until she arrived - she was very very nervous when she arrived after travelling in a van full of rescues across 8 countries in 5 days and then through the Channel Tunnel. They very kindly brought her to Cornwall for us - she's very sweet and coming on now - we have had to do extra fencing around the garden as she's so small but she can now run around with Wooster. Am hoping to get some proper training done soon, but as you said the weather is just appalling - another storm expected overnight and tomorrow.
Hope your cottage is OK We have had winds from the East which caused a leak at ours, but most of the wind has been S or SW.
Merry Christmas to you and a Happy New Year. Sue
