Tuesday

After a very stormy and wet night the rain continued. In Falmouth Bay  tugs were trying to move a Russian Cargo Vessel the Kuzma Minnin that had dragged it's anchor in the storm and ended up only metres off Gyllingvase Beach. They eventually managed to move it  an hour after high tide and when conditions had improved a bit
Amazing waves down below us - even though it was still raining
Spotted Gry Maritha in the gloom as she returned after spending the night over on Scilly
The waves crashing up onto Carn-du near Lamorna Cove
Bet they were glad to be back in Penzance
After another area of rain it suddenly cleared
We were amazed to see so much blue sky as we set off with the dogs this afternoon
Super sky as the bad weather was moving away
Wonderful sight as we arrived at the top of Boat Cove Lane

The setting sun and big waves - super sight
Couple of surfers down on the reef between The Mount and Basore Point

Not many more days before the sunset will start to move back again

Down it went

Still some nice colours in the sky

The huge swell rolling along The Greeb
The colours reflecting to the North

We then turned back up the path towards Boat Cove lane as Maen-dhu Point would have been very wet and slippery
