Thursday

Beautiful start to the day

The colours changed gradually

Looking over the field
Some frost around

Elka Hercules still here this morning but has left the bay this afternoon, but not listing where she's off to
Nice light on The Castle
Since it was such a fine day we decided that it was about time Maisie went out further into the big wide world, so off we went in the car and parked up at the very top end of Porthleven and walked into the Penrose Estate. This is the view looking along the coastline of The Lizard peninsular
Some high cloud making pools of sunshine

The Hawks from nearby RNAS Culdrose were busy doing circuits
Wheels down
Merlin
 Some sunshine on Porthleven
The chimneys and engine houses of the Trewavas Mine still clinging on to the cliffs
Looking down at Loe Bar - Amazingly calm with no waves at all
Last Hawk fly past with a lighting flash on the tail
The Loe down below us - but it's a steep hill and we would have had to walk back up again
Looking towards Prussia Cove with the top of The Castle on top of the hill
Maisie suddenly got very excited and suddenly there they were - huge number of these flying up off a fields that had been sprayed with "poo"

Back home again and a quick walk up the hill late in the afternoon
