Another showery morning and Jim had breakfast before taking the dogs up the hill
Nice colour on our side of the bay
Sun on the Church with the dark cloud behind
The photographer and his dogs
Walking down the wet footpath
A little later
Cudden Point
Gry Maritha off to Scilly again - good new today Vega (the huge grey vessel that's been in the wet dock for around 19 years, is soon to leave for Falmouth - under tow !
The last of the showers cleared and it was nice ans sunny so we decided that it was time to take Maisie on another big adventure. So off we went and parked near the Boating lake in Wherrytown and walked into Newlyn
Maisie did very well walking along - not too much squeaking - but she was a little bothered by Tom
The Coombe river reaches the sea in Newlyn
We then popped into The Duke Street Cafe and had a lovely slice of Lemon Drizzle cake and cup of tea - Maisie behaved beautifully - as did Wooster
General cargo vessel Laga at anchor awaiting orders
Just pottering about in the harbour
Bad photo but the only one to have their companion on
Newlyn Harbour looking colourful in the sunshine
Both Penlee Lifeboats
The new Penlee Lifeboat Station is really coming along now
Nice panorama from Jim of the harbour
Maisie now even more confident after having walked along the road with cars & people passing all the time - she paid no attention to Tom
Usually she would have been quite upset at these people approaching, but was fine - didn't quite let them stroke her, but she's getting there !
Jubilee Pool gleaming in the sun, whilst unseen from here the work to make part of it heated by hot water being pumped from way down in the earth goes on
More huge clouds after we got home
Two ring netters out in the glow of the sunset
Really super end to a good day
Gorgeous photos of the sunset!
ReplyDeleteThe Winter sunsets can be super and they go out of our range of vision in the Summer
