Saturday

A  grey morning with some blue starting to appear

A little later and it was really quite fine as I got on with trying to flush out the err ! drains - another wonderful legacy left by our rubbish builder.  It got really warm and I was able to work in tee-shirt and shorts - and wellies - really good look !
Spotted the Coastguard  helicopter touring around
We tried to remove all these Watsonias as they are very invasive, but there they are again
Cultivated Blue Bells just starting to flower
The mystery shrub is flowering again so I got out the big plant encyclopedia  - it's Teucrium Fruticans or Azureum  a Shrubby Germander

Sadly the sun disappeared and it got rather damp and drizzly for most of the afternoon  it dried up later on and Jim just went back up the hill with the dogs

Hopefully we'll see more sunshine soon
