Lovely fine morning - as forecast
Super waves
Low tide mooring alongside Lighthouse Pier
The usual cloud out to the West
Off she goes
Bit too close for a proper photo
Afternoon walkies up the hill
Cloud still lurking
Lovely gathering of Pointers up at Oamaru with Darcey and pup Morgan
Maisie looking very tiny against 5 month old Morgan !
More bright yellow up at Trebarvah
Quite a shock as we went over the stile
This was the Broccoli in January - think it's Curly Kale
Assume it should have been cut long ago - but I may be wrong !
Steaming fields today
Just in case you didn't believe me
Cloud seemed to be rising
Down the hill to home
Nice to see a lovely sunny day. Hoping for a few warm days in May, but I'm bringing warm clothes:)
ReplyDeleteHi Betty - not long now - haven't received the information on your trip to Ireland that you were going to get sent to me - hope you've got it ! Sue
DeleteHi Sue, thanks again for all the lovely pictures of Perranuthnoe and the area, we love it. Picture 18 and followers: Sorry, but this isn't Broccoli, it's cale or green cabagge with one special kind in red, in Germany called brown cale, brand name for the seeds "redbor". But you are right, should have been harvested in January, then frozen to make it a bit sweeter. Now you can only use it as a natural green fertilizer.
ReplyDeletegreetings from Bochum, Gerd
Thanks Gerd, I had a feeling that someone had corrected me on facebook when we saw it the first time - but couldn't find it. Pity to see it gone to waste. Sue
