Saturday

Not a bad start to the day in Mount's Bay - but there was fog around on the Penwith Moors and later on Scilly
You can see the bank of fog clearly

Busy out there today
The lovely Xerxes out for the day
Gry Maritha back from Scilly
It was glorious for a while and we decided to head out for a walk - but there was cloud and fog on either side, so we decided to do the circular walk out towards Marazion Churchyard and back along the coast
Don't see much Scarlet Pimpernel
By the time we got to the fields above Trenow it was very cloudy, but still quite warm and pleasant
See these every year - Crow Garlic or Field Garlic

The mist had dropped down onto the hills behind Penzance
As we got closer to Marazion we were amazed to see that all the recent Cauliflower fields were fields of flowers
Gather this plant is Phacelia - planted as a green manure for the fields

Close-up - hopefully for identification

Always slow crossing the dry paths

Lovely Tree Mallow
Scillonian III heading out to Scilly for the second time today - and due to the fog calling a halt to flying she'll be making the trip again tomorrow
Quite a few down on the beach

Fog still lurking this evening
