The forecast was good so we decided to head off to Porthgwarra before the big crowds arrive. Rather a strange Foxglove

We then set off again to walk up to Gwennap Head along the coast

The NCI Station up at Gwennap Head - I often quote the wind speed from up here - you can see the anemometer up on the top of the pole
