Monday - last day and homeward bound

Bill paid, key handed in and out of the Castle under the portcullis
and down the steps
Will miss this wonderful view
Full boat load off to St Agnes
Falcon speeding past Spirit of St Agnes with the lovely little St Agnes Church behind
We walked round The Garrison one last time - low tide at Porthcressa
We walked through the town and out to The Strand - just in time to see Scillonian III arriving
We sat on a seat and just enjoyed the view - and I had a coffee

Wooster and Maisie failing to co-ordinate

Walking back through Hugh Town
One last walk past Newman house and onwards a little way for necessary toileting for the dogs as it was going to be several hours until we got home
Wooster wasn't enjoying the wait to board SCIII

  1. Oh dear, all of the last day feelings came right back to me whilst I was looking at your photo's and reading your thoughts. Never mind Sue hopefully you will be back again next year and until such times, you have wonderful happy memories of being there with Mr.M and the dogs. It certainly is a very special place.

    1. It's always rotten and worse when it was so glorious and we couldn't really do much with big rucsacks and limited time - still we enjoyed just sitting and enjoying the view.
