Beautiful St Clement with the tide receding fast
Handsome Black Headed Gull
So goo to see the tide in for a change
Receding off the mud banks
The Pool to the left and River to the right of The Causeway
Permitted paddling spot where the water flows out of The Pool
Nice and cool in the dappled shade
More mud showing
Handsome Shelduck
So pleased they have managed to raise their family - so often the chicks are grabbed by marauding Gulls
Another "beach"
She's always pleased to meet other dogs
Looking right up to where we used to live in Tresillian
The Shelduck youngsters
Distant shot of a Grey Heron
Little Egret
Curlew - most of them were on the far side of the river
Tide flowing out fast leaving just the small River in the middle
These Kyacks needed to be careful as the water gets very shallow very quickly
Past St Clement and they carried on downstream towards Malpas
Hello to the Dalmation again
The Dog Lift - scary for Jim as he has to get Maisie through and himself over and keep hanging on to the lead
The River is wider and deeper here
Slight;y tricky walking through the trees
Light lunch stop with Malpas just ahead
Back down the river
The little stream - just enough for a refreshing drink
Even Maisie paddled in
This is the turning point to head back over the hill to St Clement
Really is quite a hill
So hard to believe that they are only a couple of miles out of the centre of Truro
Sadly this is where Jim discovered that his spare battery was flat - must have popped out of the charger - Sorry !
