Nice fine morning
Mermaid II and Galatea

Jim heard the noise of chain saws and spotted some old thin looking trees coming down

We decided to set off for The National Trust Penrose for a longer walk today. Looking down at The Loe

Lots of hay gathered in already
Looking along the coast of The Lizard
Looking West towards Porthleven
Lots of big Thistles
Very calm sea at Loe Bar

Beginning to walk down to the lower footpath
JS Greenstar and JS Greensky

Hot dog ! but we made it safely down the steep path to the lower section
The work on creating the new flood defence pumping station is still ongoing - it's to get the water coming down the River Cober and through The Loe away to stop Lower Helston flooding again
One of the Merlin Tigers was going round and round

Good fun on the edge of The Loe
Loe Bar
The long walk back through the woods
Almost at the cafe
Just as we sat down the Hawks took off
round and round doing touch-downs

Looking back at The Stables cafe
Quite a number of cyclists today - plesed these went the other way as Maisie isn't keen
Lots of cattle today
Lovely peaceful scene
