Stormy Saturday

Still very windy this morning with gusts well over 60mph - usually as another heavy shower came past
Some nice blue sky as Jim walked the dogs
Big swell and lots of white spume

Some amazing waves every now and then

Video of Scillonian III setting out again - only one trip today and they set off at 1.30pm hoping that the wind and sea state might have lessened a bit
Gather it was a pretty rough trip again
Getting busy in the bay with vessels sheltering or just waiting for orders
Oil/Chemical tanker Elka Elefsis
More cloud when Jim took the dogs up the hill
Wind has now calmed down a bit

  1. Oh my goodness! Don't think I could manage that trip to Scilly! The weather has been extreme here the past few days too. Snowing in the Dandenongs. Didn't hang around very long.
Daffodils are flowering in my pots and tulips coming along nicely.
Take care in the wild weather.
