Saturday

Heavy rain crossing the bay first thing

Bit of a thin rainbow
Couldn't quite see all of it
Maisie looking a bit fed up as walkies was going to be late due to rain
Looking a bit brighter but it wasn't going to last
Scillonian III setting off this morning - relatively calm in Mount's Bay but must have been a lot livelier later on

Happy Maisie saying hello to Cassie
Jim let go of her lead and let her run up the path to Tim
and back again
Happy dogs !
I set off down the "new" road heading into Penzance - hopefully to get back before the heavy rain arrived
The rain was approaching fast so Jim took the dogs out for another run up the hill as it wasn't looking like there would be another opportunity
Nice Common Buzzard

and a Kestrel

Love the way she cleverly uses her tongue to get at the Blackberries
Wooster decided to join in
This was the first lot - and still the rain keeps coming in bands
Shot from the Promenade webcam of Scillonian III arriving back this evening

  1. Great photos. I especially like the first - colours and light are beautiful. Maisie looks to be a very happy dog. She must feel that she is now very much a 'Cornish' dog.
