Tuesday

Much the same as yesterday - but this time we had wind - a lot of wind !
Just a short walk in the light rain

Sea was already quite wild, but was going to really get much angrier as the wind got worse
Gry Maritha started back from Scilly in awful conditions due to the SE gale - she got slower and slower - I gather she had a problem with one of her engines
She turned around and went back to Scilly - with the wind behind her
The column on the right shows the highest gusts out at Gwennap Head - much worse than forecast
Wax jackets on and another short walkies
Really horrid out there today
Expecting more rain tomorrow
