Friday

Another miserable morning
Very damp and the sea was looking rather angry
Jim just got back home before some heavy rain arrived
At lunchtime we went to the Church along with many from the village to say our farewell to Marazion born Colin Hicks who had lived up at Trebarvah for all the years we've been here. It was a lovely service and grand daughter Emma sang beautifully. We later went down to The Victoria for refreshments and to admire the many photographs of Colin over the years.
Sadly the weather deteriorated even more and we ended the day with thick damp mizzle
Whilst we are sitting at home on such a nasty night the really tough runners are taking part in  The Arc of Attrition - a 100 mile Winter Coastpath point-to-point extreme coastal race from Coverack to Porthtowan taking in 100 miles of stunning and dramatic Cornish Coastpath with the competitors running in challenging Winter conditions - much of it in the dark. They are out there now with the leader at The Minack
