Monday

Didn't look too bad this morning, but it was cold and windy

But to the North West was the first of many shower clouds
and every one was hail and some were accompanied by thunder and lightning
They took the shortcut down the field as it was moving fast and turned out to be a really heavy hail shower just after they got home
Dark cloud covering the blue

After one of the many hail showers

The showers came along with some massive gusts of wind
and one of the cracks of thunder was horrendous - send poor Maisie looking for her safe place to lie and tremble. Found out later that a house had been struck by the lightning.  Fortunately Maisie soon recovered
Afternoon and it was bitterly cold in the wind and possibly not enough time to do a walk without getting caught in another hail shower so 15 minutes on the field and the dogs were happy
Waves were still big and noisy

Felt a bit guilty that I'd forgotten to put their jumpers on when we were all wrapped up
Still looking wild out at Cudden Point

Just after we got back into the house there was a gust of wind of 94mph out at Gwennap Head really was a massive gust
