HMS Westminster leaving this morning
Lots of running around this morning
Probably the last of the warm mornings for a while
Took this from the balcony and decided that the lawn needed a mow while it was still warm
Jim's favourite birds
Red Kites often come to Cornwall at this time of year and we had several visit today
Wonder if they'll head back to Wales
Another visitor - H131 - HMS Scott. listed by the navy as an Ocean Survey Vessel, built in Appledore (same as Scillonian III) but on her AIS she said she was a Naval Salvage Vessel
Afternoon walkies and it had clouded over and cooled down a bit
HMS Scott and General Cargo Ilse that came in from Belfast
Hello Tegan
Lawn mowed
Really hope we don't get any frost as I've nursed this Bush Echium through the Winter
Just one flower on this Clematis at the moment
Jim's been close mowing and re-seeding around the edge of the field as it was damaged by the fence guy and only weeds grew back !
Lovely photo's of the Red Kite. The 'Olympics' continue! what a lovely playground for them.Had an early 8am walk yesterday! a wonderful view of a Buzzard overhead usually at a distance from the garden. My claim to fame this week....I heard the Cuckoo! last time was on St Martins at least five years ago!Not to sure about the latest announcement!!!very worrying...feel it will give carte blanche to the people who don't conform anyhow.hey ho.Keep safe and thank you.Mx
