Monday - Sue's photos

We had been thinking that we hadn't seen many bunnies down on the field in the last few days - now we know why - some beasts have been shooting them at night in the fields down below our field. Over 70 I gather they were boasting. Amazed we hadn't heard anything - Others had heard them on the fields higher up.
Fruit of some sort !
We decided to go to visit Porthgwarra before it gets too busy as there seems to be quite a number of visitors here - even thought they're not supposed to be ! We called in at the cafe and shared a pasty - Around 1pm - the young lady said that we were the first "local people" she's served - all the rest were visitors. Loved the sides of the lane as we walked up the road
Good to see the flags flying at the NCI Gwennap Head again
Spotted this Orchid on the footpath - will look it up tomorrow
and a bad photo of another !

My very favourite view - we sat on a rock for a while and enjoyed the peace
Jim always has to get closer of course
Suddenly there was SY Hetairos 218ft Super Yacht built in 2011 - she sailed past St Ives at the weekend causing quite a stir
Land's End Complex not open yet

Wolf Rock Lighthouse
Hetairos came closer after having rounded Lands End
A few people up at the NCI at Gwennap Head

Wonderful clear water

Passing Porthgwarra - sadly no visible AIS  to see where she went.
Sadly the cafe had closed when we got back down there and since the toilets are not open we needed to get home anyway !
Maisie enjoying some early evening sun on the balcony
