Tuesday

Misty start
Off they all go up the hill
Still rather misty over the bay

Arklow Vanguard came into the bay - to await orders - within an hour - orders arrived and off they went to Wandelar
Nice looking Windweaver came across the bay from Helford
Quite a number of French Solo Sailors came past

Since it was a fine and warm afternoon we all went up the hill and onwards to Trevean
The bank of fog still not that far out at sea
The mist rolling down the hills towards St Ives

So different looking East over these lovely healthy looking plants
On safari at Beares Den - never seen these in real life before

Love this view of the Western side of Mount's Bay
Some tiny plantlets just gone in
Walking back in towards Perranuthnoe

Rather well spaced out

Sadly this Comma butterfly just wouldn't turn around
Enjoying the Tamarisk flowers
Mia spotted this Privet Hawk Moth caterpillar on the footpath - it had survived Jim, Craig and the dogs walking past - Mia used a leaf to pick it up to move it to safety
As we headed home we could see the mist was coming over the hill towards us
and there it was !  We had a super meal at The Victoria Inn - off to The Harbourside Refuge in Porthleven tonight - hope it's not foggy ! !
