Sunday

Heading into Newlyn to land their catch for Monday's market
Nice but chilly morning

Still some big clouds around

Wait
and she's off

Lots of Schizostylis appearing in the garden
Penlee AWB Ivan Ellen and Inshore lifeboat Ivor & Mollie Dent out training with a yacht this morning
Towing the yacht over to the windy side of the bay with the Inshore boat dashing around as usual
Maisie enjoying the sunshine well out of the wind
The super Penzance based Xerxes
No AIS on this one
Just to show how clear it was today - this is the tanker Elka Vassiliki which was around 18 miles out
A Shield Bug hopping around in front of Maisie
Afternoon walkies
Spotted this bird hopping along the hedge in front of us - think it's a Stonechat

Surprised to see this Rosa Rugosa still flowering

Arklow Beacon arrived from Avonmouth to anchor in the bay

Definitely chilly enough for Maisie's red tankie
Threw this plant away as it had never flowered - the pot has laid on its side on the field and I spotted the red bract
It obviously enjoyed being eaten
Just the one shot of the sunset as the sun was too bright and it was dinner time !
