Tuesday

Sunshine and showers was the order of the day

Hello to the pub dog
The berries on the Wild Iris are prettier than the flowers

Super windblown high cloud
But lots of darker shower clouds followed
THV Patricia came back into the bay to anchor
RAF Airbus A400M Atlas C1 Callsign Ascot 482 came round doing practice diversion landings

Nerines are still looking good
Wind was cold and shower expected so Wooster asked for his coat
Lots of dark clouds at dog walking time
Hottentot Fig trying to flower
Dramatic clouds again
Some light rain on our backs as we walked up the hill

We're all into full Winter gear at the moment
Some colour - but it was dinner time again !

  1. Beautiful, moody shots today. I've enjoyed seeing Trebarvah in your photos over recent days/weeks.
Ken is moving into the house next door tomorrow, so we will all be busy getting him set up - with masks and distancing etc. He finished his last treatment a week and a half ago and is still recovering, but glad it is finished.
Hope your gum is healing well, Sue. Thank you both for your lovely reminders of my visits.
I have joined "My Heritage" and found many more ancestors, especially around St.Just, Carnyorth, Sancreed, Trewellard areas with names of Tonkin, Oates, Harvey, White and more. At least I have been around that road, thanks to you both. Must be cold and bleak there in the winter.
Take care and keep away from the visitors. Holiday season must be almost over.
    Happy memories,
    Betty

  2. They've had some wonderful sunsets up at Trebarvah - much better viewed from up there ! We really have gone from Summer to Winter with no Autumn in between - really very cold in the wind So pleased that Ken's treatment is now finished and his move is happening so soon. Pleased that you've found a way of finding more ancestors. Sadly the holiday season seems to be never ending - still very busy and we have Half Term approaching - although if the Covid cases keep rising they might choose to do another shorter lockdown - just seems to be never-ending with so many people behaving like idiots. Take care of yourself Betty. Sue & Jim
