Ha ha, Love Maisie's antics, well portrayed:) I must say thank you for your Christmas message. I have a new phone and in the transition, it has disappeared! I should have answered immediately, while it was there. Much appreciated, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a happy day yesterday. It was pleasant here. Not too hot, so a roast for lunch was appreciated. Cold dinner with all of the family was more lively.
We are fortunate that we could all be together as restrictions have eased after the long lock down. Victoria has now achieved 56 days without a new infection. There are 10 cases who are returned travelers from overseas. They went into hotel quarantine as soon as they arrived. However, New South Wales has had a resurgence of new cases, so we are still being careful.
Thank you both for the photos you share every day. I appreciate them so much. They remind me of those days I was fortunate to see Perranuthnoe and further afield, in person, and to actually meet you all.
Love and best wishes for the year ahead. Stay safe and careful. We will come through this! All going well here.
Your Aussie friend.
Betty
So pleased you had your Christmas without a lockdown - sadly we have now moved into tier 2 - not that many restrictions as we're not doing much anyway. Cases here of the new Covid variant are increasing massively and although we still don't have huge numbers down here it will probably increase after the holidaymakers have returned home. Hope you and family are doing OK and managing to enjoy your Summer - seems such a long way off for us - but hoping for the vaccine to help us try to get back to some kind of normal. Happy New Year Betty. love Sue & Jim
