Sunday

Morning after storm Bella - extremely windy last night but when we woke up it had subsided and gone round towards the North West which meant it was darn cold ! One of the outside lights had been blown apart and blown the fuse which  was on the same circuit as the boiler so the house was rather chilly at first.
Oil Chemical Tanker Elka Elefsis at anchor in the bay after what must have been a rough night out there

She doesn't miss much

New Year Cauliflowers from the field at the top of Boat Cove Lane
Continual showers again
So once again it was just a visit to the field - really can't take chances with our health - especially Jim's as we don't want to end up in hospital at this point in time

Who goes there
Old pine cone that was brought down from one of our trees by the wind. Just as well it didn't hit anyone on the head as it's very heavy
Nice shaft of sunlight moving along the horizon

I think we are being watched !

  1. Hello Sue and Jim,
I'm wondering if the word verification is working. Not sure if I have been doing it correctly, as the comments I made just disappeared. Looks like you have tested it.
I wanted to say thank you very much for your Christmas greeting. I should have acknowledged strait away as I couldn't find it when I looked later. Hope you enjoyed the day and kept warm and cosy.
Thank you for all of the lovely photos/memories you post every day. I appreciate your efforts so much. After joining "My Heritage", I've discovered, I have ancestors born in many parts of Cornwall, especially in St.Just and Redruth areas. Both of my Mother's parents are of Cornish descent.
Thinking of you all as we approach this new year. The news on Corona virus in so many parts of the world looks grim. At least it seems like we will soon be able to be vaccinated.
Wishing you good health and happy days in 2021.
    Your Aussie friend.
    Betty xx

  2. Hi Betty - sorry if the word verification is giving trouble - I haven't done anything so must be Google. Will take a look at my settings. In the meantime look after yourself and keep well. We're doing the same as the weather is so cold windy and wet and it doesn't suit either of us !Here's hoping for a much better year in 2021. love Sue & Jim

Have had to add the word verification as I am getting lots of obscene messages in the comments
