Thursday

Rather grey first thing this morning
Surprised to see a cruise ship out in the haze - the Cunard ship Queen Elizabeth  on her way back to Southampton after cruising from Liverpool up and around several Scottish Islands.
Just setting off

Passing Mousehole

Busy out there
Really nice looking ship
Off she went slowly around the bay

The course Queen Elizabeth had taken

Beautiful Painted Lady on the wall
Was hoping I might get to see G-PNZH the Penzance Helicopter we've been waiting so long for - but sadly it was still a substitute
Afternoon walkies - still cloudy but with some glimpses of sun
Speckled Wood butterfly down on the path

The sun breaking through

Maisie was disappointed as the Swallows were mainly high over the fields today
