Monday

The sun lighting up the village first thing
Jim back on walkies duty
Everywhere was really wet after some heavy overnight rain

The Cauliflower cutting has started on the fields in front of us - muddy wheels day !
Taken through the window as a heavy shower was just leaving
Through the dining room window  - complete with rain spots
Afternoon walkies in some sunshine
Carolyn with Geordie and Sally
The sun dropping quite quickly

Not sure what he was trying to say
Thought that was the last we would see of the sun

But then it found a gap

Maisie in her new purple jumper - easier to get on and off as the red one is a bit tight

Just as we got home the sun re-appeared
I went out to the end patio to get the best view

Jim's camera's version

So rare we get a chance to see the sun going down like this - in a couple of weeks if we're lucky and in the right place we might get to see it go down into the sea - before it starts to move back to the West

Down it went
Then it was gone
A little later a tiny little moon with Venus above
