Friday - Storm Eunice batters Cornwall - and much of the UK

Well Storm Eunice arrived with a roar !  Maximum gust of wind was logged both at NCI Gwennap Head and Kernow weather at 94.8mph
It was possibly the worst wind we've tried to go out in - we just went down to the field with the dogs
Wild over at Cudden Point

A little later and I dared to go out onto the balcony to try to right the big Chusan Palm that was lying on it's side - I then grabbed the camera and took a few shots

Sadly we couldn't see much through the windows due to the salt spray - it's going to need a lot of rain to wash it off !
Afternoon walkies between big heavy showers - we discovered that a dead branch from our Cedar Tree had fallen onto the path and kindly moved out of the way (thanks Nic)

Wooster ear is inside out !
The wind had gone round towards the West and the sea was still wild

Wind burn on lots of the plants down on the footpath

Just a lovely splash of colour at the end of the day

Some of the houses in Goldsithney/Perran Downs are still without power - do hope it gets sorted soon
In case you missed it on the news - the roof of the Sennen Cove Lifeboat blew off - took a cable with it so they had to be careful
