Wild and windy morning with rain approaching

Just a short walk again

and a run on the field

Tried opening the door to snatch a few photos but immediately got rain on the lens

We've had the water pipe guys on the drive all day - they've lined a long stretch of sewer today with the next to be done tomorrow. Rather noisy as they needed the generator

Remember this branch that keeled over in storm Eunice - well it has been hanging ever since - Jim put some steps under it and pulled and twisted but it wouldn't budge

Today it came down and fortunately the steps took the weight so it didn't damage the plants underneath

The rain stopped eventually but there was no time for a proper walk as we were off to The Victoria Inn for our Wedding Anniversary meal

Good to see them playing together

We had a super meal and even had a dry walk home.

Pleased to say the dogs had  slept peacefully while we were out
