Saturday

Off she goes on a misty morning - early start for us all !

We set off for the Home and Garden Show at the Country Showground near Wadebridge. We were overtaken by this very responsible group. We ordered some new patio furniture - which is what we had gone for - had a wander around, but Maisie found it a bit un-nerving as there were lots of children and dogs there.
We then carried on to - Can you guess where ! !
Padstow - at low tide
Harbour looking as good as it does on the Aspects Holidays webcam
We walked out the far side - where there are no cycles

Architects and Planners have a lot to answer for ! !
Pity it wasn't a blue sky day, but it was fairly warm and pleasant

Super view from up at the War Memorial

Looking over the Doom Bar and out to Padstow Bay

The ferry between Padstow & Rock
Tide was coming in fast

Jim had lots of goes at a panorama but due to the hill the footpath was rather bent
Nice easy trip home - not the expected tourist traffic jams.
It was an open door day for the Coastguard Helicopter
