A super Bottle Brush
And an amazing Ceanothus
The lovely Marala that came into the bay for a visit on her way from Scilly to Falmouth.
This is her history The 90 year old Super Motor Yacht " Marala " She has recently had a major refit by the Pendennis Shipyard at Falmouth . She has had a very interesting history and varied names including HMS Evadane in the 2nd World War. She has had some interesting guests including Frank Sinatra and Salvador Dali.

An amazing amount of Valerian flowering this year
Marala setting off again just as the mizzle arrived
We spotted this amazing daylight flying moth - a Scarlet Tiger
Searching back on the blog we have seen them several times before at this time of year and in exactly the same place out on Men du Point. Sadly this one didn't open it's wings until it zoomed off
