Saturday

Fine but breezy morning
Scillonian III heading out and Cornishman heading into Newlyn

Still a few wildflowers around
Rather a pale one
Since the expected showers hadn't arrived, I strimmed side of the narrow part of the drive and then mowed the lawn - it's so spongy that the wheel marks and my foot marks are still visible.
Spotted a few of these flowers in a bush next to the lawn - gather it's a Chilean Firebush
Californian Poppies are enjoying the Autumn sunshine
Afternoon walkies - in between showers

Shower cloud was approaching

Wooster trying to make Maisie play with him-sadly she didn't feel like it
The sun appearing below a huge shower cloud
The sunset through the window which had rain pouring down it
Rather artistic

We then went down to The Cabin and their evening Tipsy Crab Bistro (taking the car due to the torrential rain) and had a super meal - it was dry when we came home.
