This is what I saw when I opened the curtains this morning - massive, long, storm cloud to the West

Approaching from the Southwest - but the sun still shining. The rain arrived, along with some thunder, so Maisie went back under our bed - fortunately there were only a couple of rumbles

Jim had breakfast and then set off with the dogs, who were dressed for the possibility of more rain

The cloud covered the sun again as they arrived at the field

We almost left the afternoon walkies too late - having forgotten that we needed to get out an hour earlier

Wooster was pleased to meet his friend

Think this might be a Devil's Coach Horse Beetle - it ran across the path in front of me

Sadly, the sun dropped into thicker cloud
