Remembrance Sunday

The union flag flying for Remembrance Day
Since it was a sunny morning, we walked through the village past this Cape Honeysuckle that is flowering in a sheltered spot
Huge layer of dark cloud or mist hanging over the hills
Lovely morning sun on The Mount
Close-up of The Castle
The house at Trenow has really changed since we last saw it
The neat lines of crops at Trenow Fields

Dark sky behind Upper Marazion
Lovely colours as we walk along towards Men du Point

Out on The Point
Wind really pushing the waves in
The gravel has been pushed up towards the cliff

The Longcliffs build that is the reason for the closure of the track
Typical Autumn beach with a channel forming at the bottom of the ramp - and lots of seaweed
Really pretty flowers - not sure what it's called - Polygala ?
The Purple Toadflax by our garden gate - still flowering after several months

Ooh er ! looking a bit threatening as we set off this afternoon

JIM'S PHOTOS OF THE DAY

We met Chris with  Bonnie, Cassie and Millie as we walked down Boat cove Lane
Millie going through a very lively stage I gather
The amount of cloud to the West was a real surprise

We remember when this field had just one or two Pampas Grasses

Nice waves rolling in towards Trenow Cove

Lovely view as we walk towards Men du Point
The view from The Point

Maisie going over the steps to the road
Kobi jumped up onto the wall to greet us
Onto the field for Maisie to have a wander
Afternoon walkies and the sun had just dipped into the dark cloud

We heard a noisy commotion from Herring Gulls and then this rather tatty looking Grey Heron flew over - obviously it was the cause of all the noise

The dark cloud was rising towards us

We met the Trebarvah Chocolate Labs - little bit of grey now
