Tuesday

Grey and misty morning
SS26 out in front of us this morning
Playtime with Tess

KMS Terramare setting off for Scilly with a 30 ton Dumper for St Mary's after dropping off the first one on St Agnes both for Sea Defence work - I assume !
I went to Helston with Goldie the Yaris Cross for her 1st Annual service - Jim came a little later in little Honda Jazz to collect me. After we got home this happened - the dots are lightening and the darker the red the heavier the rain

A massive area of torrential rain with thunder and lightening arrived - I got the call after 3pm that Goldie was all done, so off we went - the worst of the rain was past but the flooded roads it had left behind were really scary to drive on. Water was streaming off the fields and onto the roads - I felt a lot better on the way home driving Goldie and we both arrived home safely. BBC Spotlight news had lots of videos of the flooding all up through Cornwall and Devon and onwards as the storm headed East

After the rain cleared the sun appeared and we set off past the Libertia which didn't mind all the wind and rain
Unbelievable how quickly the weeds are growing on the field
The rain clouds heading East
General Cargo vessel Tejo Alges that has been at anchor since May 5th - we just couldn't see her properly

Tall thin Echium on the footpath

Sally & Geordie
Wonder if this Buzzard has been fighting or just moulting but tail looking rather sad

More dark clouds appearing
Nice big Echium on the field
