The rather leggy Lavender at the front of the house suffered - but still had plenty of bees this afternoon
Think these are Alpine Sea Holly
Jim bought a couple of these Bellflowers and I didn't think they were perennials, but they're back again
Still plenty of big waves
When Nick & I got to the field someone had left a present for the bunnies - a lovely big carrot
Everything else seems to have survived
This is a bud from the big clump of Agapanthus that has been there for many years
Sorry, Nick & I walked the dogs as Jim was feeling a bit off colour - but we forgot the camera - sorry !
Looks like you've got the dreaded agapanthus gall midge. Look it up on RHS site. It's everywhere in our village on the Lizard and I have had to remove a lot of my plants sadly.
ReplyDeleteOh dear - will have to read up on it and take a look. Thanks for letting me know. Sue
DeleteUnfortunately you can find diseased plants being offered for sale in garden centres! It makes me angry because unsuspecting customers could be taking the disease to hitherto unaffected areas and spreading it. I am not aware that there is any cure.
DeleteOh dear ! None of mine are new plants
