Not many more Sunday trips this year
Really was beautiful and warm
Daylight moon - that's what I call a Blue Moon
SS 634: Barnabas - A double ended mackerel driver built by Henry Trevorrow in 1881 at Porthgwidden Beach, St. Ives with a length of 40' and a dipping lug. Beam 11' 6", draft 6' 11.7 tons). She is owned by the Cornwall Maritime Trust. Crossing the bay this morning
The lovely Pellew had spent the night off Mousehole and was slowly making her way in light winds
Closer view - Pellew is a faithful recreation of the Falmouth Pilot Cutter Vincent, originally built in 1852 and based in St Mawes she was a familiar sight on the Fal estuary for 70 years, eventually retiring from service in 1922. Today, the spirit of tradition lives on and Pellew is strongly built to sail the oceans of the world with her guests travelling in utmost comfort and safety.
Wonderful day to be on the beach
Maisie munching in the wildflower section
Passing Cudden Point - with a fisherman on the rock
Too hot for a walkies - since the dogs had been out in the garden for quite a while this afternoon we just took them onto the field for a pootle - Wooster decided he didn't want to pootle
Barnabas on her way back
Super end to a super day
