Tuesday

Arklow Brave came into the bay from Portbury

Wooster feeling energetic this morning

Pegasus still in the bay

Scillonian III off to Scilly on a goods only run as Gry Maritha is in Dry Dock undergoing her annual overhaul & repair
Noticed that the overnight wind had dried out the grass which was getting rather long
Straight after breakfast I mowed the lawn - little Robin seemed to approve
Last few flowers still looking good
Yuccas always leave it rather late
After some rain it improved again
During the afternoon I heard the terrible news that there had been a collision between the ship above Polesie and Verity - both bulk tankers. Sadly Verity sank with 1 crewman dead and four missing. They have sent divers down to check that they are not trapped inside.
A photo of Verity I took in 2015 when she visited Mount's Bay during a big storm
More rain expected so off we went with the dogs
Cruise ship Ambition heading for Bristol past stationary tanker Katherine Lady
Sadly the rain arrived early
Scillonian just turning into Lighthouse Pier
Looking really threatening - again

MSC Virtuosa with lights on and off to Cork
