Saturday

Sorry today was not the kind of day for the dogs and I to go walking. First thing it was damp but also already blowing a gale and my knees are really hating trying to walk on slippery mud in windy conditions - trying desperately not to fall over whilst hanging on to Maisie. She does walk very calmly on her lead, but Wooster has started to struggle with the steps up through the wall between the fields.

This morning I just took them to the field for a wander and they didn't seem very keen due to the wind.

When the rain sheer (as seen in the picture) eventually arrived it was like a bomb going off - Kernow Weather Team live site showed a gust of 72.5mph but they are inland at Illogan - I suspect we had more than that briefly as it passed through. Wind then really calmed down, but still raining.
