PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

New Years Day

Noticed a red glow as I was getting up so rushed to pull on some clothes and go out onto the balcony
Often a sign of bad weather approaching
How right it was
Looking at the Net Weather chart I didn't have long before the first patch of light rain - so breakfast abandoned and off we went
Walked as fast as I could as I really didn't want to get wet again




Just had time for 10 minutes on the field, before it started to rain.

It's rained more or less for the rest of the day at times really heavy rain and the wind speed also rising - to 61mph at 3.33pm when unfortunately the Gwennap Head site stopped working.

Forecast is for even more wind and rain tomorrow

Oh joy !
