Wednesday

Nice morning again

Golowan Fair arriving ready for the festivities this weekend

Mid morning and the layer of sea mist was visible out beyond Lamorna
Such a pity that the wildflowers have taken so long to bloom as there's no-one to see them through the lounge window.

Jim  drove me to Marazion Surgery where the Blood Pressure monitor was fitted - every 15 minutes the darn thing goes off - frequently failing and re-doing it, but we decided to try to make the most of the last fine day and  went to Penrose

Lots of Swallows around
Nice and cool walking through the woods

Super new signs have been erected and speaking as "Oldies" we're pleased that the distances are in miles
Walking down towards the Stables Cafe - which has been re-vamped and there's even an indoor area to sit if the weather is bad

After some light refreshment we wandered further along The Loe

Then back up the hill through the woods
Juvenile Swallow on the roof of one of the barns that sounded like they were full of birds

There was a row of these trees near the car park - gather they are Sitka Spruce
Gry Maritha setting off for Scilly this evening
Only another hour an a half of the infernal machine and I can take it off - sadly since it's been so hot I have a nasty itchy heat rash underneath it
