Friday

Little Kobi coming to greet Wooster as they set off up the hill
Nice but cold morning
Still a bit of a swell rolling in

HW Tean crossing the bay on its way back to Penzance after taking part in an Anit-Polution exercise in Falmouth Bay yesterday (was on BBC Spotlight)
Scillonian III setting off - now sporting her crane (hopefully working)
Happy Return out for a turn around the bay
No rain today so I got out my new cordless Pruners and cut the Hydrangeas down - they had really got much taller than usual and the rain and wind made them droop. Next job was to gather up all the cuttings!
Large White Butterfly on a Valerian flower
Light lunch was followed by me cutting down the other side
They do look rather bare and sad but they had got far too big. Now need to pressure wash the slabs
Lawn was very wet but needing cutting
Wheels sunk in a bit - you can even see my footmarks - but lots more rain the next weeks forecast so had to be done

Dramatic sky as we set off this afternoon

Was getting rather chilly now the sun had gone behind the cloud

Nice yacht Blue Bell came past heading into Penzance

Scillonian III arriving back in the gloom

Just a little colour
