New Years Eve

 

Beautiful start to the day - I'm sure it had been even better a few minutes before I got up

Jim's cold has returned with a vengeance and this time with a terrible cough, so it was down to me to walk the dogs

Looks like fun - from a distance

Already a bit windy, but we're expecting a lot more later on

Tanker Gale still at anchor - the Arklow has gone round to shelter in Falmouth Bay

Hebe flowering on our garden wall at the end of the year!

Afternoon walkies - wind has gone up a lot and gusted at almost 60mph at Gwennap Head whilst I was out

Long line of cloud which was approaching

Sea looking very disturbed

When I was on the field with the dogs I was admiring this Kestrel that was managing to hover in some really big gusts of wind

Some colour after we got home

Sadly Gwennap Head weather has stopped working again, so won't be able to keep a track of the wind speed

Dark morning with a little bright patch

Off they go

Not much running about this morning

Later on - sun catching a shower across the bay

Afternoon walkies with just some brightness out at sea

The sky opened up and there was some nice blue sky

Next door neighbour Merlin came to say Hello

Nice and bright while we were up there
