Saturday

Storm Amy really got going overnight - although the wind turned towards Westerly which meant it was quieter in the bedroom
Far too much wind so I persuaded Jim to just do a short walk and then go onto the field

With the wind now Westerly there were no giant waves

Mount's Bay was a mass of white horses
The Fasicularia by the field gate has a super dark blue flower - worth waiting all these years for
Afternoon walkies after the showers had passed and the wind had dropped a little - not a lot!
Buzzard managing to soar

Was really windy at the top

Was good to get to the lower level

Sea still lively

I couldn't resist taking a photo as it won't last long

The sun making a brief appearance  on the way down

Friday

Today was much as forecast - wet and windy - a few photos to show that the dogs actually didn't seem to mind just having 2 visits to the field

Not sure what happened up at the NCI Gwennap Head but obviously the wind wasn't that bad. gusts just under 60mph regularly

Afternoon and the rain wasn't too bad to we all dressed up and went back to the field
Wooster was feeling really lively - suppose because he hadn't used his energy walking up the hill and back

Think the Pampas grasses will be wrecked by Sunday - both back and front of the house

Thursday

The day before the stormy weather arrives!

Afternoon walkies with dark clouds overhead and rain approaching.
It was also getting rather windy

Crow versus Buzzard again
Crow just doesn't like it in his territory
Rain seems to have  gone past - for now
