Saturday

Storm Darragh had arrived overnight, with the wind building all the time - Already gusting over 70mph we decided to take the dogs to the field and found Sally had the same idea and so it was a full house of Samsa & friend along with Wooster & Maisie
They all enjoyed it and we all headed back home
I went out onto the end patio and Jim took this photo of me wearing my big furry hat that ties under my chin as I'd had a bit of ear ache from all the wind. Not a fashion statement, but lovely and warm
The NW wind really ripping the tops of the waves

Afternoon and the wind had not really dropped much at all - Land's End weather had logged a gust of over 80mph while we were out

Poor little Robin suddenly landed in front of me as I walked through the spoil heap - think it was literally blown through the hedge - looked a little shell shocked and hopped ahead of me - then off he went

Back onto the field for a few circuits and then home with the wind still blowing

  1. Sorry but I have a fault on the Internet and cannot post any photos until it has been fixed by talktalk. Can't even do a new post to the top of the blog.
