Saturday

Glorious blue sky morning

Scillonian III passing Mousehole - if you look closely you can see right through the gaps into the harbour as the baulks are out.

Was able to find some old Eclipse glasses and took some shots of the partial eclipse this morning - tried to tone down the colour from the glasses
The Eclipse glasses tinted the sun rather too orange - but interesting to be able to see it
Out towards the horizon we could see a Type 45 Destroyer - assume possibly HMS Dauntless or HMS Dragon as both have been in the area recently.
Wonder if we're expecting more Russian shipping
Unfortunately by lunchtime the day suddenly went downhill - first rain, then mizzle/drizzle and a cold wind
Wooster not impressed by the weather

Little Lottie again

Just a short run on the field - really was unpleasant out there
