Early morning shadows making it tricky
Thought this might be Border Force - been around all day
One of the Aeoniums on the balcony has suddenly sent up a flower spike
The wind had really got up - Gwennap Head showed max. gust of 62mph but was 55-58 for most of the afternoon. It actually brought down our dangling branch that had been waving around since November
Afternoon walkies and Wooster demonstrating the size that the Alexanders have got to - they tend to fall over the paths and the lane
Walking down the hill with the very strong gale force wind trying to blow us over was really unpleasant
The wild water on the far side of Cudden Point
Vessel came a bit closer
Scillonian III had a really bad trip back today - speed right down as she was sailing into the gale - which was much worse than forecast. Here she is arriving back in Penzance at 19.55pm
and going straight across to the Eastern Arm as the water was over-topping Albert Pier ( courtesy of webcams)
Landing craft Gugh left for Scilly, but turned around and headed back into Pz. I watched through the 'scope as she turned around and she had white water splashing right overHere is Gugh arriving back and heading straight into the Wet Dock
