Saturday

Rather grey first thing
Still two vessels left at anchor

Cloud starting to clear from the North

Great to see the Lugger Happy Return out in the bay

Second Lugger appeared - looks like Barnabas - Happy Return carried on round The Lizard and is now at the mouth of The Helford
I decided that the drive was beginning to look tatty and getting as narrow as the lane  down into Perranuthnoe due to overgrown plants
Really sad to have to cut the lower Valerians down, but there are plenty more higher up. Lots of butterflies today - zooming around in the wind
Marine Discovery's Shearwater II came past
Bad shot of an Orange tipped butterfly
Red Admiral taking a rest from the strong wind
All done - at least the car will happily go along without beeping and stopping!
Our first Whistling Jack (Gladiolus Byzantinus)
So pretty
Really windy when we took the dogs out
Mystery vessel - looks Navy

Nice and sheltered down there
Happy boy today
The only one that stayed put - One Spot White Butterfly
Jim has decided to leave two patches in honour of "No mow May"

Better shot of this vessel and it crossed the bay
SCIII arriving back in the white caps this afternoon
