Saturday

A little colour before the sun came over the hill

Gry Maritha out in the bay waiting for the gate to open into the wet dock. Unfortunately she came back from Scilly still fully laden Here's what happened - "While alongside, the vessel experienced higher-than-forecast swell conditions, which resulted in damage to the forward windlass and windlass shaft. Despite the best efforts of the ship’s crew and quay staff, who worked late into the night under challenging conditions, it was not possible for the vessel to remain safely alongside.I gather that much of the fresh goods have been Airlifted during the afternoon.

It continued to be a fine and mainly sunny day - I went to Morrison's and then decided to try to wash the layers of mud off Goldie - not sure how long she'll stay looking nice and shiny
Afternoon walkies with a detour to deliver a few Christmas cards

I'd like to think that Millie is smiling - nice set of teeth!
Maisie wanted clamber up this wall - obviously something had been up before her

The Mount was lit up again, but our cameras couldn't cope as the light had got so bad
