Sunday

Weather was really nasty this morning with heavy drizzle combined with a nasty strong wind
Jim decided it was really not the day for walking up the hill so onto the field they went as it's a little more sheltered

They're quite satisfied with that - we had both power and water which was a bonus. I went down to Folly Field in Marazion to get some drinking water from the water station there - sadly the wind was so bad as it's very exposed there and someone was injured by a flying placard so it had been closed down - bought a few 1 litre bottled from Morrison's petrol station as I was too early for the supermarkets to be open as it's Sunday

I popped out onto the balcony and took a few photos

Cudden Point getting a bashing again
Unfortunately the water went off as the washing machine was mid-wash and then the power also went off again - we watched a couple of comedy DVD's on the laptop until the power came back on - sadly the water is still not on. Really shouldn't complain as there are many who have had neither power or water since Thursday. They have been working such long hours for days to sort everything out.
