Tuesday - Storm Chandra

By the time we got up this morning Storm Chandra was already raging. Jim took the dogs to the field, but found he had no memory card in his camera - my fault! So I got hat and coat on and went out to the end patio to take some photos of the wild angry sea

Looking over Mount's Bay to Carn Du near Lamorna

The largest gust of 71.3mph registered at Lands End Weather
A very violent patch of wind and rain approaching
Later on and the wind direction had turned to SW

This Chusan Palm on the balcony has never blown over before as it's tucked right into a corner
The heavy showers and wind persisted, but Jim wanted to take the dogs for a quick walk during a short gap.
Dramatic sky

Quick run around the field.
Through the window
The end of another stormy day. Lots of flooding in Cornwall and worse in Devon and Somerset and sadly yet more rain on Thursday
