Some sunshine but a bitterly cold Westerly wind
Expedition boat National Geographic Endurance had arrived early this morning from Portugal
Love her ears!
Scillonian III leaving for Scilly - sadly she suffered a problem with one of her engines and returned to Penzance - after an examination it was decided it would be best for her to head for Scilly using the one engine. Due the engine problem and to worsening conditions for both Friday and Saturday both sailings have been cancelled - what a mess!
I stopped off at Marazion Cemetery and took a couple of photos of Endurance
Went to collect the wheelie bin from up the drive and thought how lovely the flowers were - the old Cranberry Apple Tree is looking amazing
Huge number of flowers
The Rosemary is also doing well
Mermaid came a bit closer this afternoon
Marine Discovery's Shearwater II also came past
Afternoon walkies
Endurance was very slowly drifting her way along the coast and hung around for a while off Mousehole - she has now left for St. Brides Bay
We were surprised to find the the footpath has been properly strimmed
They often only do the parts where there are steps etc
Bluebells appearing on the field
Gry Maritha arriving back from Scilly - partly repaired but seemingly still requiring a tug escort. Scillonian arrived back at around 8pm
